PE

Students have a double core PE lesson each week and within their lessons students have the opportunity to follow a particular pathway in which will cover a variety of different activities. The following activities are examples of sporting activities on offer at KS4.

The emphasis of KS4 core PE is that of ‘active for life’ and participation, aiming to get students involved in various activities which they will enjoy and may continue to participate in once they leave school.

Outside of lesson time all students are encouraged to attend one of the many enrichment opportunities given. At St Andrew’s we have teams in the Croydon Schools Football league and cup, Croydon Schools Netball League and Tournaments, Croydon Schools Basketball (girls and boys) in the League and Tournament, Athletics Championships and, Trampolining competitions.
